Principal's Message

I welcome you to our great school.  Our motto says it all: "An established school with modern ideas based on traditional values".  We believe that Frankston East Primary School is seen within the community to be a friendly, family orientated school providing strong student and family attributes.

This high level of support combined with smaller student numbers has led to us often becoming the school of choice for families seeking a smaller, more personal setting.  Each child is given the chance to personally strive to achieve at his/her maximum levels.

Our Primary Experiences program aims to provide not only high quality educational opportunities but also to make sure that our young children participate in and enjoy very important learning experiences which assist the overall social adjustment of each child:

  • Whole school bowling day
  • Whole school beach day involving many parents
  • Engagement and connectedness program for senior children
  • A conflict management program presented through games
  • Camping experiences from Years 3-6
  • Music awareness and appreciation program culminating in a whole school performance at the George Jenkins Theatre in September
  • A rich ICT program across the school
  • A visual arts program in our Art room together with a visiting artist each year

Student welfare is an important issue underpinning all school programs.  The school community encourages high standards of behaviour based on cooperation, respect, mutual responsibility, self discipline, and actively promotes harmonious student relationships.

I thank you for your interest in our school and we would love the opportunity to discuss further any areas of interest you may have.
